Loved how the narrator tried all the different voices, made it quite interesting. Some good laugh out loud moments..

The FMC got so annoying that I almost couldnt finish this. How stupid can a woman be??
In the end I hoped the MMC would choose another.

The good thing - and why it overall g’ets 3 stars was the humor for me to chuckle out loud.

Nice light hearted, humorous kinky story. lt had a more serious back story but I enjoyed the inner funny dialogue Michaela had. Great supporting characters, I really liked Dr Drake, he should get his own story.

I was so certain I wouldn't get past the first chapter. I was sooo wrong. Funny, Quirky Loyal and Beautiful inside out, Mikaela is the definition of a tomcon heroine, and even though I'm not a fan of the genre, she definitely had me hooked till the end.

What made the experience of listening to Against the Ropes the most enjoyable?

never have i ever listened to a audible book that made me laugh out loud so much that i have had to explain to the people round me what i was laughing at but this book made me do that on more than one occasion

the comedy and attitude of the main characters made this story come to live

Story is meh voices are horrible. I expected a good boxing kink story but it's just a mess and the voices are so bad I couldn't continue.

There are so many female narrators why use one that sounds like an old lady. The main female character was supposed to be 24 but the narrator made her sound 60+ the inner dialogue was supposed to be funny but I found it so cringy. I could so imagine this book being great without the weird humour & with a different narrator. We need a redo.
