Dark and sexy!
This story has interesting characters. Bear is and old fashioned kind of man, or should I say bear. There’s chemistry between the MC but also dark pleasures. There’s a tough heroine who will not let herself be tamed and a man so protective you can help but love. The narration was on point too.

Enjoyed This
I don’t normally Listen to “dark” romance but I think this was considered dark b/c he made her listen by spanking her. And she didn’t want him to. I don’t think It was scary dark. I enjoyed this book. HEA. The narration was great. I recommend this book.

Fabulous

Misterious
Bear by Delta James was a decent story. It was everything I expected from the author. I liked the mistery of Cade's transforming to a bear and Haley's determination to fight for what she felt was right.
I enjoyed Jack Calihan's narration and it definitely was a good choice to have a male narrator for this book. I liked his voice and clear speech very much.

At this point, I've read several Delta James books and Bear is what I've come to expect from her writing. While the spanking and disciple didn't bother me per se, I think if Cade had set some rules beforehand then it would have been more effective. Haley wasn't really told what he expected of her ahead of time which would have been hard. I also wish there had been an epilogue to help round out the story.
Side note, as someone who was raised in Southern California in the 80's and 90's I was highly amused when we found out Just Cal's last name. Every time his first and last name were said together "and his dog Spot" went through my mind and I giggled.

Wow!!
That was so HOT. Delta James sure knows how to heat up a room with her bad-boy alphas and head-strong heroines. This was definitely an entertaining and super-steamy story with fabulous characters. Jack Calihan's narration never fails to impress, he did a fantastic job. I loved everything about this audiobook, one I'll strongly recommend. I loved it
this was very lovely to listen to Jack calihan was the best voice to use but I just wish there would have been an epilogue, instead of just ending it like that

💥Delectable💥
Delta Did not disappoint on this badboy . It had Sizzling chemistry, dark desires and scorching heat that was paired beautifully with a dramatic and engaging storyline that grab my attention and hold on to it brutally tight, perfect dessert for a long day
and an amazing fantasy of taboo love and brutality ,lies that I just could NOT get enough of this naughty little morsel
This is definitely a 5 star☆☆☆☆☆ rating and Jack was fabulous I had a really growing good time listening to him he brought the story to life !
Story line was fabulous the narration was out of this world this was definitely a keeper
