This story has been on my TBR for years and I'm not sure why I waited so long but it's a fun classic vampire/human billionaire romance with an angry ex, an obsessed old boss and a gaggle of quirky friends.

I am a big fan of paranormal romance stories so I was eager to listen to Bite Me. The plot delivered on all fronts. Plenty of steam, and romance, along with tension, humour and a great flow. I cannot wait for more from this series.
Lucille Campbell-Crowne did a great job with the narration, and while Conner's accent was not excellent to start with, it solidly improved throughout. The voice acting was excellent with recognisable characters and the atmosphere clear throughout.

Yeah I enjoyed this one.
Donna who is independent but fully aware of her capabilities in ensuring her own safety. So not your typical vampire romance stance where the heroine fights against the protectiveness of the love interest (Vampire) which was quite refreshing.
There were some dark scenes which only add to the overall story.
A good plot with character development and just enough romance.
Looking forward to the next in the series.

I found the story to be well written, fast paced and well described.  I found I was engaged until the very end.

With regards to the performance… I found the narrator did well but it may have worked better with a male co narrator, duet style, as it was tough at times to figure out character definition.

I look forward to the next book!
