About this listen
The Bond has been made,
Reid and Cyrus will never let me go.
But who is trapped with who?
They will protect me from my father.
Rescue the Fae who were stolen.
And indulge my deepest, darkest desires.
They have their hidden agendas.
But I have mine.
As the world turns to darkness in Ivan's shadow, the Dark Fae grow in number and ferocity.
The lines between magic and science are blurred, and a hidden weapon lies in wait.
Is there a way out of this? Reid believes there is. But our freedom will come at a heavy price.
One a hero will have to pay.
But there are no heroes here.

Betrayal at it's best
Raven goes through many trials & tribulations, and just when she is moving towards a better place emotionally and in a position where she can finally remove Fae people out of hardship & entrapment....Boom, her world comes crashing down and the betrayal runs deep. I can't wait for the next book in this series.

Unexpected twists and turns
My god! this book had me shedding tears to parts of the story. The trauma that Raven go through is heartbreaking 💔
The story follows Raven on her continued journey to save the fae race along side the people and friends she cares most for.
there were some twists and turns that I was not expecting and was excited to not have predicted the outcome.
Parts of the story had me thinking the MFC is so hostile and angry all the time but, knowing everything she's goes through I can not actually blame her. Saying that it would be nice to see some of her softer side as well so it's not all anger and hostility I hope that we may see this in the next book.
The performance was amazing and I just love how the narrator is able to differentiate between the characters. Amy executed the story amazingly and I really enjoyed listening to the story.
spice level I would rate this at a 3🌶🌶🌶 some scenes were very 🥵 and delious to listen to.
overall I would rate this book a 4.5🌟🌟🌟🌟
I very much look forward to reading the next book.

Wow!
This book was amazing! It has been a long time since a book has put my heart through the wringer like this one did. The story starts with a bang, getting straight into the action. There are so many twists and turns to this book, just when you think things are going one way, something else happens that throws you completely off track, I love that! I really wanted to throttle Cyrus and Reid sometimes, especially towards the end of the book. It was great to see Raven’s growth throughout the book, but she doesn’t know who to trust and she is put through hell, and that ending! All I can say was that I was not expecting that! Well done to another amazing book by this author, she just keeps getting better and is easily becoming one of my favourite authors! ❤️ Also, a huge well done to Amy Putt, who did an amazing job bringing the story to life.

Skilfully brought to life
I’ve read this book before and absolutely loved it, so I knew what to expect with the story. Another of my favourite reads has been skilfully brought to life and it’s really whetted my appetite for book 3, even if I do know how the story concludes. Between M. J. Lawrie’s amazing gift for crafting a story and Amy Putt’s skilful narration, this book is definitely up there with my favourites and it’s another book that I will be coming back to listen to time and time again. You will need to have read book one first. Highly recommend if you love a gritty story with a bit of spice. It’s one heck of a ride!

A revolving door of emotions
Wow just when you think you have things figured out and you know where the story is going the author pulls the rug from under your feet and you crash your way through another portal and a whole new element to Raven's story. The series continues with Raven battling against all the odds to save as many Fae as possible whilst navigating her double mate bond, the betrayal of her Father and Ari and her fear of Jonah. This book left me breathless yet again at the twists and turns and the narration of this book is top tier.
