This is an enjoyable introduction to the series and the main characters involved. Garrett is one of four brothers who work together and also play together in the same BDSM club, although there are disappointingly no scenes set in the club this time around.

Wyatt is sweet yet annoying with all his worrying and fidgeting. I’m not really sure what Garrett saw in him to start with, apart from his desire to be his Dom and that he thought he was cute. He turns out to be a nice guy and a willing sub.

Garrett is controlled in his approach with Wyatt and in control of their relationship once he decides to pursue him. I loved the calm, sexy voice the narrator gave him.

The story focuses on setting up the characters and their situation with only a few explicit/spanking scenes. I was hoping they’d use one of the spanking benches that Wyatt had made. The BDSM content is mild in this story but hot nevertheless. I was disappointed we didn’t get the full conversation where Garrett and Wyatt discuss their limits/contract. The story just jumps past that. I would have liked more plot and to see Garrett and Wyatt's relationship in more detail. I assume this story sets up the next book in the series.

The narrator, Kenneth Obi, portrayed the characters to suit their personalities and made the story easy to listen to.

I love all things Shaw Montgomery I've read this book, Garrett is the first brother in the series the MCs are interesting Garrett really doesn't notice anything even if it hits him on the nose but he is good Dom, bound and controlled club is the club they go to. Fantastic book
Kenneth Obi has done really well with the story and characters, he gets this book, works it to become awesome listening
I highly recommend this if you like BDSM it's not hard hitting. But still gives us the idea of the club.

A great short book. Garrett is shown as a confdent dom and we get to see it once he realises Wyatt is a Sub. Great easy listen. Ended too quickly I want to know more about Garrett and Wyatt, and the other 3 brothers and his mum. Cant wait to listen to the rest of the series. These boys are adorable. Kenneth did a great job in narration

Oh I just love a growly Dom and Kenneth Obi gives us the perfect growly gentleman Dom. Garrett’s instinct is to help calm and sooth his fidgety client Wyatt. The problem is Wyatt is a client and mixing business and pleasure is a no no. Little does he know that Wyatt has a crush on him and the two of them have been set up. I loved the dance they do around each other until realising they have what each other wants. From there on it just gets hotter. Garrett and Wyatt’s story is the perfect start to the series, introducing the other brothers and the club. This is a lovely sweet BDSM story.
Kenneth Obi is a new narrator to me and I think he portrayed both Garrett and Wyatt perfectly. His characterisation of them and Shaw Montgomery’s narrative helped me create a wonderful picture of Garrett and Wyatt. Looking forward to the rest of the series.

Another sweet and sexy short story from Shaw, I’m now looking forward to listening to the rest of the series. I enjoyed following Garrett and Wyatt’s relationship beginnings, especially the confusion of why Wyatt visits his Insurance office just sooooo many times! It’s nice how we, the listeners, know what’s going on with both of them - I was just dying to give them a nudge in the right direction.

We had a nice peep into the lives of Garrett’s brothers so I’m dying to listen to their stories now.

I’ve listened to Kenneth Obi’s narration before and love his grisly Dom voice....swoon! I’d recommend this book to anyone who likes a little spice in their lives.

This is a great book to listen to! Maybe not when out and about in public, at minimum with headphone :-)
Garrett is a Dom. Comfortable with his life, family who are all in the lifestyle and work that he enjoys. Until he meets Wyatt, a customer at their Insurance company who appears quite shy and skittish.
Wyatt is a Sub. He is working to make his furniture business his main source of income and was referred to Garrett's company for insurance. His attraction from afar becomes a bit more intense when seeing him regularly up close.
When Garrett learns of Wyatt's attraction and tendencies, it leads to a very satisfying end for them both.
The story itself flows really well. It's a short read but grabs your attention and keeps you throughout. We are given enough info on both characters and the surrounding family/friends to enhance our enjoyment and become involved in the MC's outcome. The Dom/Sub relationship is talked about in depth with acceptance and love, as is the different aspects that other characters in the book enjoy.
Kenneth Obi reads the characters really well. Using his voice to push out the power of a dom's voice but also the quiet, peaceful tones of submission.
A great listen that I'd recommend and I'm looking forward to listening to the rest of the family's stories.
