This is the second time reading this book but the first time listening to it.
The story is still fun and interesting with a ton of spice. I loved the magic system and hierarchy of the courts and it will be fun to discover more about it plus all the secrets in the book.
The narration was excellent. Cassandra was the perfect voice for Queen Sarah and both she and Tristan did an great job narrating the story.

The writing wasn’t strong enough for me to rave about this, but I’m intrigued enough to try the next book.

The insta-love was too fast for me. They don’t seem to appreciate anything about each other — it’s just, “Hi, I’m Shara, let’s stay together forever.” The steamy scenes were kind of off-putting, and that’s v unusual for me!

Definitely worth the credit amazing story some of the scenes may not be for everyone a strong stomach is needed for a few bits lol but the sex scenes were amazingly written the characters personalities were awsome altogether a must read I couldn't get enough can't wait for the rest of the series to come to audible and movie please hehe xx😍🤩🤯🌡📚🎥🙏

This is one of my favourite series! This is my third reread but first time on audio. I love every minute of it

I have almost every audiobook in this series by now and I like them a lot.
Fated mates, male on male on female and so on.
Only trigger warnings are blood sport and a good amount of explicit spice.

The story flows nicely and keep my interest (for 6 books so far). A female vampire queen collect "monsters" aka vampire, shape shifting males. The queen has some enemies and with magic she clear the way to happily ever after.

Good narration.

Story- week, teenagey. Voiceactors- cringe, cringe, and blah. The male voice actor sounds too old, and... exactly like Joe Biden. It was so uncomfortable and cringy to listen, and I, unwillingly, imagined Biden doing and saying all those things. A putrid image.
