this book is from the female POV and is narrated by Lucy Rivers who does a great job. (It's the second book (claiming my sweet captive that is narrated by Joe Arden, its the same story but from the male characters POV. I found it really helpful to listen to this book also as it helped to understand where his head space was at).
there's not a great deal of story to this book. An FBI agent is held captive and trained to become her captors sex slave with a hint of romance and a few elements of BDSM that some people may find uncomfortable to listen to, I found it a bit uncomfortable in this book but less so in the second once the understanding behind it was made clearer. however it may be triggering for some as most of her consent is forced in one way or another.

I loved this book. would definitely read another by the author. it entertained me throughout. wasn't sure about the narrator at first but soon got used to it.

Wasn't sure about the sexual assault vibes at first but I loved it. the story is so fantastic... I was so annoyed when someone needed my attention and made me pause!!!
Lucy did a great job... Joe Arden didn't even say anything, don't understand why he was listed as a narrator for the book.

This was an interesting read but lacking in any real darkness, however I still found it an enjoyable read, Samantha is introduced slowly to the world of BDSM a new experience with almost every chapter.

The Latino accent of the narrator was poor and often sound more Russian than Spanish.

For fans of the genre I would highly recommend you give this a go.

I liked the story, but it was a little repeating. Specially the first 2-3 hours.
But I liked the ending.

the storyline was good, but sadly the storyline was only a 1/4 of the book. Had to skip so much sex scenes.
