About this listen

Emily arrives at Westbury Hall with a job to do. She's to clean and conserve all of the books in the impressive library, preserving them for future generations. Not long into her stay at the house, she bumps into the night guard, George. She'd expected an old balding guy with a comb-over, so the hunky chap she actually meets is a very pleasant surprise.

The introductions complete, George leaves Emily in peace to get on with her job. But when a falling photograph sets off a chain reaction of ghostly events, Emily and George are thrown together in order to find out who - or what - is causing them. Their investigation uncovers a tragic past, a lost love, and a stunning secret.

Please note: This is a revised and extended version of a previously published title, Love Through Time.

I liked the narrator and for a very short romance story is was good with a little touch of history and ghosts.

Very enjoyable book. It is a short story but it has lots going on. Fantastic narration from Louisa, she really does bring the characters alive.

I liked all the characters thoughts but it just didn't feel like it went together with the past and the ghost and the current situation they were in. Had a hard time staying focused and trying to keep everything understandable. She was a good narrator but felt the voices could've been more distinct.

The book is about Emily. Her job to clean and preserve books, lands her at Westbury Hall’s Libary. There she encounters strange events. Together with security guard, George, they have to solve some ghost mysteries. This leads to some bonding between Emily and George.

This was a fun, quick, read. And, I was able to get through it in one sitting (about half an hour). Both the writing and story was excellent!

Immersed in the story throughout! Excellent!
