About this listen
Odin, the jarl’s son, wants to be with Loki and has for as long as he can remember. Odin intends to use the magic of Yuletide - the time between the old year and the new one - to win over Loki.
Loki doesn’t need much convincing to see how wonderful Odin is, but he can’t see a future for himself with the son of a jarl. How would it be possible?
With the jarl’s blessing, Odin hopes to prove, once and for all time, he’s the man for Loki.
This is a 10,000-word Yule tale meant to help warm a listener through the gloom of the winter solstice, the year’s longest night. Happy holidays and happy listening!
©2018 Kiyle S Brosius (P)2018 Kiyle S BrosiusThe performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. It took me a little bit, to come into the narrator, but at the end, it worked. I only have to take a few breaks between. I'm just not yet finish with the book, I’m over the half, but I listen enough to give a review.
