「授かりの祠」(27分) 体験者の女性が小学校三年生だった夏休みのことである。家族そろってその年も両親の故郷である三重県熊野市の池川という村に遊びに来ていた。 毎年季節になると皆で帰省しては四、五日滞在する。川遊びや夏祭り、日によっては七里ガ浜に出かけたりと楽しく過ごしていたが、実はこの村の外れから入ることのできる深山の森には特に子供一人で入ってはいけないと大人たちにきつく戒められていたそうだ。 しかし、その日彼女はふらふらと家族から離れ、一人で遊んでいるうちに我知らずその森に足を踏み入れてしまう。
