ルールしかわからないけど（一部はルールが分からない方も）、将棋番組はなんとなく楽しいから見るのが好きといういわゆる「みる将」が増えています。
一昔前では将棋番組は 、一部のファンのためだけの専門的で難しいものでした。しかし現在は愉快なプロ棋士と美人女流棋士がおもしろおかしく将棋を解説するので初心者にも人気です。ただ番組を見ていても、たまに知らないネタや解説に意味不明な言葉が使われることも多く最近将棋ファンになった方にとっては戸惑うことも多いのではないでしょうか。
