As good as it is to worship in song, it is just one of the forms of worship a believer can express towards God. For example the very first time the word worship was used in the Bible we find Abraham taking up Isaac to a mountain to sacrifice him to God.

At that point of worship (for that was the word he used when he was talking to his servants) there was no music, no keyboard and drums but a heart longing to do God's will.

Therefore, from this, we understand that worship is from the heart and can be expressed in various ways. It could be expressed by the way a believer gives; by the way a believer praises in times of trouble; by spending time in the word or however else the Holy Spirit chooses to inspire the heart of the believer.

One important point worth mentioning here is that the believer should come to a worship service ready to contribute to the worship experience. Unfortunately many are waiting for the choir or the praise team to inspire them in their worship experience rather than come with a heart ready to give praise no matter the circumstance.
