تبدأ رواية (3 نبوءات سوداء) باكتشاف مجموعة مخطوطات نادرة في أحد كهوف جنوب سيناء مما يُشعل الحرب بين عصاباتٍ دولية وجماعات محظورة تتنافس لسرقة هذه المخطوطات لما فيها من أسرار قد تغير شكل العالم ومستقبله.

تدور أحداث الرواية في فترة زمنية طويلة جداً، وفي أماكن وبلدان مختلفة، بين الماضي والحاضر فتبدأ، منذ عام 1968، حيث سيناء المصرية تحت قبضة العدو الصهيوني، ثم تنقل إلى عام 1981، حيث مدينة تل الربيع التي باتت تعرف باسم (تل أبيب).

ثم عام 1992، حيث مدينة القاهرة التي تتغنى بعودة 1800 قطعة أثرية، كانت إسرائيل استولت عليها خلال احتلالها سيناء، ثم تنتقل إلى ديسمبر 2010 في القاهرة...

ثم تعود بالتاريخ إلى ما قبل الميلاد، حيث العام السابع من حكم الملك صدقيا آخر ملوك اليهود في أورشليم، والسنة الرابعة من حكم نبوخذ نصر؛ ملك بابل، ووقوفه على أسوار القدس...

واللافت للمتلقي أنَّ هذه الرواية لا تعتمد على التاريخ فقط في سير أحداثها؛ فتاريخها غالباً ما يمتزج بالجغرافيا بأقسامها كافة، من سياسية، واقتصادية، وبشرية، وحيوية، ولغوية، وعسكرية، وتاريخية تهتم بالأجناس واللغات وحدود الممالك والبلدان، كما أنها لا تغفل الاقتصاد ودوره في نهضة الشعوب، وعلم الاجتماع في أسباب قيام الحضارات وانهيارها.
