Not bad at all.
I rarely read fiction, but I thought I would on this occasion and wasn't disappointed.
The brisk and "follow-able" story is clear and entertaining.
Problem is, that unlike reference/educational/scientific and "out there" books, it's one one off read.

Congo first contact
A really solid and enjoyable first-contact story. The characters are believable, the story engaging and exciting, and the writing capable. I got drawn in and listened over two days. There are some really interesting ideas and I found the author's chat about the science at the end added to the experience. It's also a bit different to have such a story set in Africa, although I would have liked more African characters. But overall definitely a good listen.

Original and digestible
A decent piece of science fiction literature with original ideas and executed in style. The one big issue was relying on Google translate for commands used by Russian soldiers - why not dig deeper for the language if everything else seems so well researched?
Altogether though a fun and digestible, action-packed story that kept me interested and invested.

really enjoyed this book and presentation. Strange take on the firot contact theme, different than other I have read, but I enjoyed it.

Good find
I've only just discovered this author with this title. It was on Plus catalogue so gave it a go.
I thoroughly enjoy Mr Cawdron's delivery of HardSF. Great attention to detail and well researched facts and logic of actions. Yet distilled and delivered in a very reader friendly style, as I've come to know after researching him, is his objective with his approach. Friendly HardSF... Quite unique, and I will surely be purchasing his other works. Great job and very enjoyable Mr Crawdon!

Took a chance and glad I did!
I love science fiction films but hadn’t read a science fiction novel before.
3zekiel caught my eye and it wasn’t long before I was engrossed in its intriguing and well told story. I really enjoyed that it was told using facts about physics & space which helped me relate to the characters experience. Some thought provoking ideas to mull over to.. very good!! Good luck to the author with his future novels !

This is one of the best listens I've had on Audible
The storyline is completely absorbing and I listened every minute I had a chance to. The characters are believable and the science threaded through the narrative is explained in a very clear and enjoyable way and certainly gives food for thought. The narration was excellent and certainly gave the story real life. I heartily recommend this title and will be consuming more from this author
