I loved the narrator a lot, and I love the author’s style. An amazing listen all around!

The writing is divine and the performance by the Voice Actor probably the best I have ever heard. I adore all the different voices for each character he does. If I could give this more than 5 stars I absolutely would.

A new RJB novel is something to treasured and this book 2 in new series is no exception. A new mystery set on the outskirts of the empire within a kingdom set to be subsumed into the empire. A member of a treasury delegation has vanished and Ana and Din are set in to investigate.


If you enjoyed the first book then more murder mystery awaits you, I really enjoyed it.

Narration is generally good but some of attempts by the male narrator to do female voices are a bit strange.

Robert Jackson Bennett delivers again with a tightly wound, razor-sharp novel that’s as thought-provoking as it is addictive. A Drop of Corruption, the second novel in this series, pulls no punches: the world-building is intricate and draws you in, the dialogue crisp and witty, and the plot unrelenting. The author managed to weave political intrigue, moral ambiguity, and bio-punk suspense into a story that feels both timely and timeless. I couldn’t put it down. All wrapped up nicely by the fabulous narrator, Andrew Fallaize.
