I loved it.
Historien gik lige i hjerteknuden og jeg gik mange dage efterfølgende og tænkte på Samson. En viljestærk kvinde, som man kun respektere og se op til.

Speechless
This is the most beautiful book I have read this year. And one I believe will stay with me forever. Amy Harmon is truly the most amazing writer, and Tavia Gilbert narrated it wonderfully. Truly magical.

The Deborah Samson!!
This is a fantastic story of The Deborah Samson (Sampson). A real rebel of her time, it was great to hear that this was based on her actual story of how she strove to chart her own destiny despite being a women in the 17th Century.
Whilst I felt it slow to start the final chapters were just what you wanted to read, the ending she deserved, although the love story was fiction it was a nice thought. I think Amy Harmon certainly did Samson justice, but I would have liked to have heard her true love story - but then this wouldn’t be a historical fiction novel.
Overall a lovely read 🥰
