just love this series
this was slightly different from the other books but I really enjoyed it. One of the key themes was about how previously busy men reacted to covid lock down. I know that my husband really suffered even though he could do Limited work. So it was really good to see that played out really sensitively .
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and the characters and as always the narration.

A Mugs Game.
I really enjoyed this third book in the D.I Redding series. I found the storyline interesting and different, Billy devises a plan to beat the bookies and tells his friends, overheard by some villains who try to cash in. It is quite funny in parts and keeps you entertained from start to finish. Good characters and plenty of twists. Grant Love's narration was once again excellent. For me the sound effects didn't work however, I found the music supposedly added to create drama was only annoying and the doorbell was far too loud and unessesary. I believe book 4 is on the way and I look forward to listening to it and catching up with Claire and her team. *****
Grant kindly gave me a copy of the book and I leave this honest review.

Another strong story which builds up to an exciting climax, leaving a cliffhanger at the end. Well written and narrated.
