Ahh, Venice...

I enjoyed this book even though I found several of the characters mildly or very annoying. Eventually I quite enjoyed being mildly annoyed. I enjoyed the setting of the Orient Express (I hope Ms Henry received compensation for her product placement.) A pleasant way to while away a few hours. Anna Bentinck did an excellent narration.

Enjoyable escapism

There are several threads woven through this story with predictable outcomes but there enough twists to keep it engaging. I enjoyed the evocative descriptions.

Very enjoyable, easy listening.

I really enjoyed this book, the writing was very good, moving seamlessly from character to character. The story lines where strong and held detailed information of each person involved.
Beautifully narrated, defiantly recommend.

Easy listening.

I enjoyed this book, the details of the individual traveller's lives, before they joined the train. Slightly predictable ending but a very nice story.

A really sweet comfort read

I have always had a dream to go on a sleeper train holiday. However I am unlikely to achieve this as I am Disabled and need some hefty kit to get me about so I have to read the dream instead.

This is a really sweet comfort read that weaves together four romantic narratives involving passengers travelling from London over night on the Oriant Express.

Wonderful a book that leaves you wanting more

I was totally drawn in from the first chapter Anna the narrator had the most soothing voice. I particularly liked that each chapter was dedicated to each individual story .This was my first veronica Henry book but it won't be my last .The descriptions of the orient express and the journey on the train and Venice really brought the story to life . I loved it .
