About this listen

It's Christmas time at the Paranormal Institute for Witches. Excited to go home for the holidays and be reunited with their families, Mercy, Jax, Holly, Sweets, and Alba say their goodbyes. However, when an unpredicted snowstorm ravages Aspen Falls, the girls must scramble to figure out their next move. Tempers flare as blame is placed and feelings are hurt. By the looks of it, Christmas will surely be ruined.

But when a surprise visitor arrives, the girls are forced to find out what friendship really means and decide whether or not it's worth saving. Visited by some blasts from the past, the girls are given glimpses into each other's pasts and find out what life would have been like if they'd never met and formed the Witch Squad on the first day of classes.

A Very Mercy Christmas is the fifth book in the Witch Squad Cozy Mystery series - there is no mystery to solve, instead sit back and enjoy a Christmas story about what went down over the Witch Squad's first winter break and get a glimpse into the lives of each of the girls before they met.

Book 5 in the series. This is by far my favourite book in this whole series. It had me gripped from the offset, the story was actually superbly written and you have to read the others before this or nothing will make sense. There were things that I had forgotten and it was all tied up brilliantly. The narrator yet again excelled and this book kept me awake as I just could not stop listening!!! This was so cleverly written!!! Well done! This book was given to me for free at my request and I have provided this voluntary review.

Fantastic Series of Books!!

This is very different than the usual witch squad story because there is no mystery and the story just centres around the five characters but I enjoyed it. I think because I know the characters so well (well this book five) it was a lot of fun but if you are new to the witch squad I wouldn't start with this book but I would ask where have you been? You are missing out on a great series. It was a fun twist on a Christmas Carol and I loved learning more about the characters as people and why they are like they are. Can't waiting to start the next book so see if there friendship has got any stronger.
Its Christmas time and three of the witch squad members are going home to spend time with there families. In fact Mercy and Jax are the only ones left at witch college. But with Mercy's boyfriend away the weather he usually controls and keeps nice and warm takes on a mind of its own and the area is hit by a snow storm that is going to change everybody's plans and lives. Blame and arguing ensures when the travel plans are ground to a halt. Is this the end for the witch squad? Not if the powers that be have anything to say about. They send an old friend to intervene by showing each girl there past, what happened if they didn't become friends in the present and In the future. Can the girls put aside there differences and learn how important there are to each other?
I like the narrator she uses very different voices for each of the girls, although Jax with her bubbly Christmas spirit did get a bit high pitched and annoying.
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
