About this listen

The disappearance of a routine patrol has the humans scrambling for answers as they investigate the possibility of a new Phaser weapon. Research back on Earth uncovers a technology native to the inhabitants of Reaper's World that has far-reaching implications for the future of all Artificial Lifeforms on Earth and in space.

Finally, to add to all General Jake Thomas has on his plate, a fundamental change in his relationship with ALICE could land his personal life on its ear and upset a decade of stability all in one swoop.

Story and ongoing world building

I think the overall Alice series has been great. I really hope it does get an overall conclusion of ending. It feels like it's heading to a conclusion but every book adds abit more to a growing story. It did take me some time to adjust to a change in reader between books but overall performance of both was excellent.

Good pace

Easy listening Sic Fi , all books is this series . The series starts with two characters and steadily increases to a full cast of villains & heroes

The truly awful Mickey Mouse "Hello Pluto" voice the new narrator used for some female characters

Story is not as good as the first 4 books, but still ok. However the new narrator with his Mary Poppins English accents and the absolutely dreadfull high pitched take on some of the female characters is ruining this series.
