Skye & Jax!
Can a rockstar fall for a waitress? Jax has been smitten with Skye. The one day their female lead doesn't show, he takes his chance and calls Skye to the stage, and the sparks fly. Now offered a chance to tour, he asks Skye to come too. But that requires permission from her controlling father. Conditions given, no romance while on tour. Well that is easier said than done, and when Jax mistakes Skye's actions, he storms off and leaves the band hanging. Where does this all lead? Mary J Williams pens a fabulous story, packed with emotional turmoil and passion. Like no other, this rockstar romance stands out and now I can't wait to hear the rest of the series.
Daniella Acitelli gives an amazing performance bringing all the characters alive. She is quick to change from male to female and able to give the differences in ages and personalities with nuances in her voice. I enjoyed her performance.

Rockstar Romance
Almost Paradise is a wonderful story by Mary J. Williams. The storyline is excellent, a well-written rockstar romance packed with passion, secrets, and deceits. Jax and Skye are lovely characters, genuine and engaging. I love that they fall for each other before they become famous. The narration by Daniela Acitelli is great. I can't wait to read the rest of the series. I was given a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Lovely story.
With a sweet story divided by time, this second chance romance is just that. Romantic and with enough interesting characters to warrant searching out the rest of the series.
The narration by Daniela Acitelli is warm and expressive. She captured the sweet heart of the romance and conveyed the strength of Sky's character to a tee. I did have a couple of eye blinking moments differentiating between characters but not to the detriment of my listening experience. A truly lovely listen 💖💖💖💖
