Ane er så spændt på at komme i skole den næste dag, at hun næsten ikke kan sove. Men det er ikke timerne, hun glæder sig til. Det er den nye dreng, Viktor, hun glæder sig til at se. Han er virkelig sød og slet ikke som de andre drenge. Men næste dag er Viktor ikke i skole, og Ane kan ikke lade være med at bekymre sig - hvor mon Viktor er? Ane-bøgerne fortæller om pigen Ane og alle hendes oplevelser både i skolen og derhjemme sammen med hendes venner og familie. Per Gammelgaard (f. 1948) blev uddannet bibliotekar i 1973 og har siden da skrevet en række digtsamlinger. I 1981 debuterede han som romanforfatter med "Er du hjemme, Johanne?"
