Ane-bøgerne fortæller om Ane og alle hendes oplevelser både i skolen og derhjemme sammen med venner og familie. Per Gammelgaard (f. 1948) blev uddannet bibliotekar i 1973 og har siden da skrevet en række digtsamlinger. I 1981 debuterede han som romanforfatter med "Er du hjemme, Johanne?"
