A lovely story but distracting background sounds

The story is charming and soothing, and John’s voice is wonderfully soporific as always. However, Audible have added annoying background animal noises which pull you out of sleep. This doesn’t work at all, in my opinion. The sounds are too irregular, and at first your brain is trying to work out what they are and whether they’re part of the recording or actually outside your own bedroom window. Such a shame, as without them this would be a perfect sleep story to use again and again.
