A good storyline which has clearly only just started and fireworks are about to fly, only negative is the male narrator for me his voice is irritating

Alexander's voice was not right for this story he was suppose to be a ruthless cold blooded mafia made man the female voice was OK I've listen to her before always a good listen on this occasion not so much.

Loved both the narrators! They fit the characters well! Story was quite good too. Definitely worth a listen.

Though as another reviewer has said, it does leave some information out (where is her dad etc). Assuming it won’t be included in the next book as it moves on to another character.

Narrators we're both perfect. The female narrator was exactly what I'd expect a female mafia boss to sound like.

What about his dad?
So they rein together... There is so much content to.make announcer book!!!

I know there's a second book but I'm no way motivated to purchase it as it jumps to the other brother....

well, this book didn't hold its promises I've read on the blurb. I didn't get the feeling that the mmc is a man in the mafia. He makes mistakes only a rookie man would do. His demeanor changes by the first few encounters with the fmc, making seem easy. And where is the survival instinct of the fmc when she needs to run? He found her so easy and left me disappointed.
The narrators did an excellent job given the material they had to work on. I only wish Alexander's part were a bit more cold-hearted (cz this is the way i have pictured a mafia man in my head) but its just me. I think he was fully connected with the written character's voice.

More focused on name dropping luxury/designer brands and unnecessary descriptives than portraying a realistic storyline. Narration good, but can't recommend as worth the time to read/listen. Sorry!

Disappointing, neither intriguing nor exciting. Tries to be too many genres to be a decent version of any!
