Summary
A laugh-out-loud, slice-of-life martial-arts fantasy about...farming????
Jin Rou wanted to be a cultivator. A man powerful enough to defy the heavens. A master of martial arts. A lord of spiritual power. Unfortunately for him, he died, and now I’m stuck in his body.
Arrogant Masters? Heavenly Tribulations? All that violence and bloodshed? Yeah, no thanks. I’m getting out of here.
Farm life sounds pretty great. Tilling a field by hand is fun when you’ve got the strength of ten men—though maybe I shouldn’t have fed those Spirit Herbs to my pet rooster. I’m not used to seeing a chicken move with such grace...but Qi makes everything kind of wonky, so it’s probably fine.
Instead of a lifetime of battle, my biggest concerns are building a house, the size of my harvest, and the way the girl from the nearby village glares at me when I tease her.
A slow, simple, fulfilling life in a place where nothing exciting or out of the ordinary ever happens...right?
The first volume of the blockbuster progression-fantasy series—with more than 16 million views on Royal Road—now available on Kindle, Kindle Unlimited, and Audible!

Worth the credit
Using the perspective of, and powering up of, the farm animals in addition to the isekai'd human really made this book. The characters are distinct and interesting and the plot took interesting twists and turns.
Set up, problem and solution laying out and naturally moving the story forward.
This series easily makes it on to my look out for preorders list. So... book 2 soon please.

Thoroughly enjoyed this
I wasn’t sure about this one…….but I enjoyed it and it just got better and better.
I didn’t know anything about cultivation but that didn’t matter at all, it’s just enjoyable.
The time flew by and it finished before I knew it.
I really hope there will be more in the series.

Stop thinking about it and just get it.
I was unsure to pick it up, it sounded ridiculous (not in the good way). I took the plunge and have since been hooked. smashed through the first 3 books back to back, incredible, funny, heart warming with great, lovable characters

Story
unsure why it's so highly rated
apart from the focus on the farm I don't know what's good about the story.
it's pretty boring and generic, the writing is fully tell with no show is a sortof flowery way e.g.
combat is like 'he beat them using intelligent techniques' and not saying what these techniques are.
similar writing to the realms. I felt it was a below average litrpg

Brilliant
I picked this up thinking it would be a standard cultivation book with a bit of comedy. It's so much more. The plot totally disregards standard cultivation books, it's full of comedy and I kept grinning like an idiot while listening to it. I really recommend this. Amazing narration and story.

A Sweet Farm Adventure
It was a really nice story about a guy who starts a farm and a family. The power mechanics are cool, they very detailed but it does feel like the system is well defined. It's just a nice, fun book.
