Now, this is second chance romance done right!
I’m usually not a big fan of second chance romances as there is usually a really good reason for the initial breakup and (not saying you should never give people a second chance, but) there’s usually not enough growth by either/both characters to warrant them getting back together. HOWEVER, with this story, Seth’s reason for leaving without a trace honestly made sense. Even with that, it also made sense for Tory to be angry, and to stay angry. Thus, the story was compelling. I enjoyed every moment of this novella!
This was a quick read. The characters were great. The pacing, also great! I really enjoyed it!
This is my first M.K. Chester read, and now I’m about to check out some more from the author because this was good! Highly recommend!

This bite-sized story will delight and surprise you.
Tory never got over Seth’s disappearance from her life. While she’s working and merely surviving, Seth comes back into her world wanting to start over again. What Tory doesn’t know is why Seth left in the first place. Her heart is guarded and walls are up, even though their undeniable attraction pulls them together anyway.
Seth’s reasons for leaving the first time are crushing and heartbreaking, but Tory has to decide if she can forgive him and give him the chance to make amends. Heart-warming sweet story.

Easy
I enjoyed listening to Madeline Moore
This is a great fast listen. . I understood Tory’s reluctance to trust Seth . He vanished four years ago. When Seth returns as mysteriously as he left, he wants a second chance I loved the romance and suspense in this story .
