About this listen
Ellie’s vacation in Florida is coming to an end, but there’s barely time to savor her last days on the beautiful Gulf Coast. When death strikes a bikini contest at her luxury beach resort, Ellie must use all her sleuthing skills to find the killer. Helped by Hemingway the parrot and Mojito the resort cat - not to mention her eccentric Aunt Olive - Ellie is soon busy combing the beach for clues. And she finds that this case could be her toughest yet: There are jealous rivals with murder in their hearts, sinister spa treatments with deadly effects, and powerful men who will stop at nothing to silence others.
But the mystery isn’t the only thing on Ellie’s mind. With her time in the Sunshine State ending soon, will she decide to return to her old life in London? And what about her "vacation fling" with handsome resort doctor Blake Thornton - does she dare follow her heart and allow the budding romance to grow into something more?
Join barefoot sleuth Ellie on her final adventure, as she finds that a vacation in Florida can be deadlier than she had ever imagined....

Good overall
Not my favourite of the HY Hannah series nevertheless I thought this was an interesting plot with a nice bit of humour thrown in. Got better for me as the story progressed. Just a small irritation for me we don’t say “Cell Phone” or “Vacation” in the UK it’s mobile and holiday! The story was set in the USA but those words were used to describe what Ellie was doing or thinking. Just a small attention to detail that irritated me a bit being a Brit lol.

Loved it, but gutted that it's the final part!
I have loved all 4 of these and I know that Ellie couldn't stay on holiday for ever, but so sad it's the last one.
Really hoping it is paving the way for more adventures for some of the characters, as the holiday comes to an end. Please don't let this be the last we hear of them! :-)

Excellent series
I read /listened to this series back to back and have loved every minute. The characters are great and easy to love. The setting is serene and beautiful. The plots and story lines are wonderfully written and narrated beautifully. I would highly recommend.

Island paradise
I loved the book and just had to add it to me audible collection. The story is just like the cover shows a fun cozy mystery that is bound to cheer up any miserable day or add more sunshine to a bright day.
You don't need to have read or listened to the previous books but it does help as you get to know the characters so well. I really enjoyed the three books in this series and I am a little sad that this is the last. The author has left us with the possibility of seeing the characters again, although not sure if it will be the same if they move location because you won't have the loveable Mojito ( a mischievous cat) or the amusing Hemingway ( a loud talkative parrot). The characters are what makes this a great series and the author always develops such a like able cast and funny situations. I had worked out who the killer was because the author left a few bread crumbs for you to pick up but it was still a lot of fun.
As Ellie's time at the beach resort draws to an end, she never thought she would find herself involved in another murder investigation. Her aunt as a famous author is invited to join the owner of a sun screen lotion that holds a bikini competition every year. Ellie's boyfriend's ex girlfriend is in charge of the publicity for the event and isn't happy to see Ellie but she is even less happy when feminist target the contestant. Strange accident and messages also follow the group but it is only when one of the girls turns up dead that Aunt Olive asks Ellie to investigate with her. Can Ellie, Aunt Olive, Mojito and Hemingway find the killer before they strike again?
I like the narrator and think her timing and delivery is perfect, especially the highly amusing parrots screech of pants on.
