A Vampire Story With Bite

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review. There's something so cool about vampires. The sleek creatures of the night feeding on the blood of the innocent. In recent years, vampires have become nothing more than sparkly teenage idols, but I'm happy to say Black Irish goes some distance to putting the vampire story back where it belongs. Black Irish is like a deadly mix between Marvel's Blade and a Samuel L. Jackson movie, and it doesn't hold back, either on the language or the violence and gore Thomas Stone's narration brings the character to life, and it's a thrilling - if a little too short - ride from start to finish. I completely recommend this book to anyone who likes action or vampire fiction. I'm very much looking forward to more Black Irish stories in the future.
