About this listen
Kriminalhauptkommissar Jan Fabel (half-Scottish, half-German) is a man of conscience and imagination. In his desperate attempt to solve the case before more victims are discovered, he gradually uncovers layer upon layer of intrigue. How can he track a murderer who leaves no trail, whose victims seem purposefully random and whose motive reaches far beyond greed and lust, into the darkest recesses of the human soul?

The story is based in Hamburg, Germany where several woman have fallen victim to a particularly vicious serial killer. The detective leading the case is half Scottish Jan Fabel and his team.
I found the German slightly tedious at times but I quite enjoyed the story I think there must be a sequel to this as it ends quite suddenly and all the ends are not all tied.
