Summary
Just when I thought I'd found someone to love....a damn Cupid shows up and shoots me in the ass!
Not just me, either.
The nasty bugger can't stop firing his damned arrows.
If you thought love triangles were complex...try a love dodecahedron.
I mean, when a bunch of deadly vampires all think they're in love, and jealousy takes over, heads are going to fly.
How'd these Cupids end up here to begin with? I'm beginning to think something else is responsible...something familiar...Because they're not sowing love. They're breeding chaos.
Bloody Hearts is the seventh book in The Fury of a Vampire Witch. You've met Mercy before in The Legacy of a Vampire Witch and The Blood Witch Saga. She's fought against devils and demons, insidious witches, and old-world vampires. When she returns to Exeter, where she grew up as a girl, she'll find enemies even bigger and badder than anything she's ever faced before.
A great series for fans of the True Blood/Sookie Stackhouse novels or the Underworld franchise to sink their fangs into. The Fury of a Vampire Witch features a dark and twisty romance, action that could even get a vampire's heart pumping, and a snarky badass heroine.

Theophilus Monroe and Kelley Hazen did it again
Theophilus Monroe, wielding his pen like a modern-day Pied Piper, beckons readers into his magical realm once again with 'Bloody Hearts'. This time, our beloved anti-heroine Mercy Brown finds herself contending with none other than a gaggle of the fugliest... Cupids! Yes, you heard that right. Cupids on a mission to wreak havoc on the world, and her merry band of vampire allies.
As always, Monroe's trademark tragicomic brilliance shines through in every page turn. You never quite know what to expect next—whether it's the uptight and condescending Prince Ladinas bearing an uncanny resemblance to Charles Ingalls from 'Little House on the Prairie', or a barrage of pop culture references that keep you on your toes. And let's not even get me started on Ladinas and Alice—seriously, they're the worst!
So, fasten your seatbelts and get ready for another wild ride through Monroe's madcap universe. With every twist, turn, and absurd scenario, 'Bloody Hearts' delivers non-stop entertainment that'll leave you craving more. Trust me, it's one rollercoaster you won't want to miss!

Loving or what
Well, is this a different take on Valentine’s Day or what. Cupids normally are nice loving little creatures but not the other side of them that’s for sure. I loved listening to it from beginning to end. What going to happen in the next one I wonder. Highly recommended listen.

Excellent
Loved this. Humour and fun accompany this date with Cupid. Except cupid isnt alone and he isnt a cute cherub, and the arrows he shoots cause real danger. Author Theo is a master at storytelling and this is trademark him. Loving the fact he can still pull surprises. Well worth it.
