The story is ok, but the narrator makes it sound boring. Especially when she reads male parts

good storyline but strange voice over
Liked the storyline, however the narrator's voice was not suitable for a males voice. quite annoying really

Poor Narration
If there was a different narrator this book would have been good, but even changing the speed of speaking didn’t make any difference in the awfulness of the book.

Could not finish because of the narration
I listen to a lot of audio books, I can count on one hand how many books I couldn't finish because of the narration but I found this completely intolerable. Monotonous and irritating, especially the main male character's voice. I've really enjoyed all of Cathryn's books and I have no doubt I would have enjoyed this too if any of the other narrators she's used before had read this one. So if you've listened to this first and found it annoying like me, try her other books with different narrators, they were good.

Really struggled to stick with this
Really struggled to stick with this one, from the get go I felt the performance was poor with the different voices being very off which felt irritating. Super cliche throughout and not a good story. Didn’t enjoy and wish I had stopped after the first chapter as I was tempted to
