About this listen
“Who’s been whispering to you, Jack?” (Doctor Halliday)
Jack Harrison has the evidence there in his hands - the DVD and notepad off D.C. Sanders that proves Gray supposedly played a part in tearing him and Jan brutally apart. But with Jack locked away in his own mind and lost to his blackouts and self-harming in the Masters’ Circle’s psychiatric unit, the past brings to light the origins of a new beast, one who only comes out to play when Jack needs to hide - a psychopath who has, perhaps, tasted and tested Gray to the full. All Jack has to do is remember how...and why. More to the point: Why does one part of him know Gray’s signature mark as an interrogations officer? And why is there such a serious sadistic kick in hiding the memory?

Dark and Darker
Jack is in such a turmoil he starts to remember his past eventually with Psychiatric help.
This is more of Jacks story - you can't stop reading not until the last page.
There is so much to learn and to know about Jack.
Plenty of twists and turns have you gripping your kindle .
Jack tries to bury his head in the sand but unfortunately it will not work...
Compelling story have with such a wonderful narration by Dan Calley ...... Dan makes the story so real it makes you think it's happening now !

Another great book
This is the third book in the series and covers the five months Jack is in the psychiatric wing of The MC.
As you would expect from Jack L Pyke the book is not always a comfortable listen. As we delve deeper into Jack's last and meet Martin as he emerges for the first time, we learn of the trauma that gave birth to him.
The book involves a lot of flashbacks which are done wonderfully, and fill in so many blanks.
I love the narration, Can Calley does a great job, with distinct voices and accents for his characters.

back in time
Third book in series, must read in order. We go back in time a bit to learn more about Jack's past. Binge worthy series. Once you start you just want more.
Great narration.

It just gets better
The most addictive series I have read in a long while. I feel like I’m being templed down in emotion and suspense and yet it is still so satisfying. Incredible writing, stunning story and super audio performance by Dan Calley.

The plot thickens
These characters have been through the wringer. I’m so hoping that they get a HEA as they definitely deserve it. I feel that they have some way to go yet. Jack must of worked so hard writing these books, you can tell how much of himself he has put into these books. Fantastic performance from Dan.

Emotional rollercoaster
This story is hard to listen to at times but it is well written and the audio book does it justice.
My only small issues was a couple of times I couldn’t tell if the voice was Gray or Jan, I couldn’t tell the difference. At part from that it was performed well and I love the grit and sorrow that Dan Calley portrayal so well.
I personally felt every emotion these guys go through and was left wiped out but ready for more
You won’t be disappointed

Fascinating
This is another excellently written and narrated story that I couldn't put down once I started it. Not always an easy book to read or listen to, the unraveling and putting back together of Jack is always fascinating. The sheer amount of research that must have been completed to make this realistic is mind blowing.
My heart broke for Jan every time he appeared in this story. He now desperately needs the support of his men. I suspect that Jack will always be a work in progress, but "soft" Jan is now the one with problems.
Dan Calley pulled out the voices of the first 2 books as only he can. Now we have a young Jack and Craig added to the mix, and more of Martin too. It is so clever how each of "Jack's" three voices are different yet contain the similarities you would expect.
I have already downloaded the ebook for the 4th book and can't wait for the audiobook. So...do I peek or wait?

OMG
How much do I love these books? Well honestly loads, the story, the drama, the love. I am happy we got to hear Jacks story this way as I was just a tad confused that in book 2 it seemed to skip a chunk but this would be why.. I cannot wait to delve into Backlash book4. Please take a chance and listen to this series as it’s totally worth it.

Wowed me
This whole series so far has absolutely wowed me. There are so many twists and turns, so many secrets and so dark that this book had me on the very edge of the seat desperate for more but nervous as to what is going to happen next. This is not a light novel this is exactly what it promises to be and delivers so well on it.

Brilliant story with fantastic narration
I have a serious book hangover after finishing this book. It is book three in the Don’t series and in my opinion is best read/listened to as part of the series. At the end of the last book my heart broke for Jack, Jan and Grey. They had been through so much and reached breaking point. This is book is about Jack fighting his demons. Oh boy I love Jack L. Pyke’s writing she has got into the nitty gritty of his mental condition and laid it all out bare for us. The ending was perfect, giving hope that the future for all three of them will be brighter. I love this series because it pulls your heart apart and gently puts it back together again.
Dan Calley’s exciting narration enhanced the mood of the book so much that I found myself stopping what I was doing just to hear what happens next. Brilliant.
