About this listen

An evening of ACT prep turns deadly when two teenage girls become the target of a ruthless Mexican drug cartel. Their car is left running, their doors ajar, a note crumpled on the floorboard:

I have your daughter and her friend. You know what I want. Get it to me, or I kill them both. You have two weeks.

What is the note talking about? Is there more to this abduction than meets the eye? Amber's dad is a FBI agent. Could the note be for him? Why?

Uncover all the deep connections and dark secrets while experiencing non-stop, heart-pounding action as Amber's dad wages a one-man war to rescue both girls from the clutches of pure evil.

The narration was so poor that I was unable to finish this book, it reminded me of those automatic text to speech voices, monotonous, slow and with pauses in the wrong places. The narrator also had a sibilant voice, which I personally find difficult to stand. From the amount I heard the writing was "clunky" and awkward and didn't flow well.
