Amazing!!

Read this book a little while ago and the Audio version only makes it better. The narrator is amazing with all the different voices you really get a feel for all the characters. The story is amazing I am a big fan of Amelia Hutchins and this book is becoming one of my top favourites, highly recommend to anyone who enjoys Amelia Hutchins or wanting to enter her world.

Sadly, cliffhanger and no sequel. No HEA.

Great story, and while the narration is decent, it is poorly edited. There are constant times where the narrator says the same thing twice. Like they had to correct something, but couldn't be bothered erasing the first error. (For instance, chapter 6 says 'my gaze slid to nix, who waited for my reply' twice in a row with a pause between).

The next major problem. this book came out originally in 2020. It ends on a cliffhanger, but there's no sequel. You'll probably never know what happens, there's no HEA (happily ever after).

On the positive side, amazing story, great world-building, there are side-characters and history and everything that I request in a great romance... except the lack of a HEA. Heck, there isn't even a happy for now (HFN).

If they could fix the editing and write the other half of the story, this would easily be a 5 across the board.
