The cons and the pros of being a makeup artist. Julia explains everything from clients that are cancelling appointments on which what to do. One of my favourite topics she shares is about the admin stuff.
This is some other makeup artist doesn’t know about, it includes a lot of time to be ur own admin or even to be a bookkeeper.
- she also covers the about the circumstances on a bridal situation on how will you get paid for your work . Also a bonus on if you are interested to share your knowledge to other people .
Great book to start with. It opens my head abit for going into freelance . It’s a big jump.
And Julia is right that you have to build you’re clientele first before leaving that main job
