About this listen

Calm, Happy Kids is a guide to helping children learn to manage their emotions using mindfulness, meditation and breathwork.

With the ideas and activities shared in the four main sections, your child will learn:

  • how to calm down when restless or fidgety
  • how to focus and concentrate
  • how to feel happier when facing difficulties,· how to prepare their mind and body for sleep

These incredibly valuable life skills are delivered in a fun, engaging way using a series of practical exercises and activities children love.

Lovingly written, Calm, Happy Kids will suit children ages 3-7 and beyond. They’ll learn how to shake off their fidgets, do the sit still challenge, use a magic balloon to take away their worries, and much, much more.

Next time your child needs to concentrate, sit still, get a good night’s rest or feel in control of their nerves, listen to this book and try one of the exercises together. You’ll be amazed how powerful they are. Start helping your child to feel calmer and happier right now — click the 'buy' button to get your copy.

Mindfulness for all

Having read the book and practiced mindfulness myself and with children - I looked forward to trying out the audiobook. This is something I will be able to use with my SEND children, where I won’t have to lead as with the book, and be able to be part of mindful too.

Very relaxing

Contains a number of helpful exercises, and Rob Plevin's calming voice makes listening a pleasure. On the downside, we are not allowed to use electronic devices in the classroom so it would have been more helpful for my classroom practice if I had bought a printed copy. The audible version would be perfect for parents and other caregivers, where children can listen to their own copy. I will still use the exercises in the classroom, it just means I have to write them down or remember them, and that feels like a shame because half the magic is in the way they are read by Rob.
