About this listen
Camping Day is the third book in a fun series about the life and adventures of our two very famous pets -- a talking dog named Max and his talking cat sister named Penny! In this funny children's book, the two pets decide to go camping. The story begins with a wild ride in the family's electric car! Then, our heroes try their hand at the likes of tent camping, fishing, archery, horseshoes, and roasted marshmallows. And "No Max! You can't text your friends during the camping trip...it's all about nature!" The book is ideal for pre-K and elementary-aged children who enjoy fun animals! Kids love Max and Penny. This is a great bedtime story. It also serves well for first graders who are learning how to read.

Steve Ross's narration is clear and engaging, with a friendly tone that will hold a child’s attention without overwhelming them. With it's light-hearted tone this story is certain to delight young listeners and possibly even inspire a few camping adventures of their own.
It’s an ideal listen for bedtime, or quiet afternoons, especially for children aged under 10 I'd say, unless like me you are a big kid! LOL!
I was kindly given a copy of the book by the author and have pleasure in leaving this honest review.
