Lovely narration
I carried on listening to this because the narrator Daisy Haggard has such a lovely voice. Easy listen, easy story , generally ok

Loved it
Such a funny sad brilliantly written and wonderfully read book- I loved it - I have always had pets
- cats and dogs and losing them is always completely painful

An absolute must read for pet lovers
I absolutely adored this book! I’ve never read a book that has resonated with me so much! I laughed and sobbed! Absolutely beautiful! Daisy Haggard was the perfect choice to narrate!

Utterly wonderful
I loved this book! It was one of those where you cant stop listening but dont want it to end. I am a cat lady, so I found Mia completely relatable and loved the positive representation of pet lovers in general. It made me want to cuddle my cat, cuddle some humans, and be more myself. I laughed, I cried (no, sobbed) and told everyone I know to read it, now I'll do the same to you! read or listen to this book. It's wonderful, and I will be reading it again soon.

What a corker of a story!
Loved it, loved it! Started slowly, then couldn’t stop listening. Great narrator and some really laugh out loud moments. What DOP has also done so well, is touch on really important social matters subtly as well as taking you on an uplifting character journey with lots of unexpected twists. Read, recommend and enjoy. x

I’ve listened to this book twice now and just absolutely love everything about it. It soooooo needs to be made into a film! Not sure who would agree to the ‘romantic’ scenes 🤣Dawn you are fantastic and I’ve loved every single one of your books, can’t wait until the next one! 🐈 🐕 🖊️ big shout out to Daisy also 💕

The book I didn't know I'd need
I purchased this book a couple of months ago, just because of the name, Cat Lady, I didn't read what it was about.
My precious baby cat, Mabel, has since been diagnosed with bone cancer and is dying. Which has completely broken my heart.
I started listening to the book without knowing what it was about. I couldn't believe I'd chosen something so connected to my life.
I laughed, I cried and I want to listen to it again already.
I love it, and if you have ever loved or lost a pet, this is for you!
