About this listen

Silver fox Stephen Webb doesn't mean to start a workplace fling with the cute new intern.

Stephen Webb has a pivotal tax season ahead of him, and he doesn't have time for distractions. At least that's what he thinks - until Minoru "Max" Kamigawa walks into his life and disrupts all his plans.

Max secretly wants to follow his love of music, but family obligations keep him rooted in Hawaii. Tax supervisor Stephen Webb makes his spring internship a little sweeter, but the man's priorities don't seem to include Max. Is it only a fling or something worth staying for when his dreams come calling?

Stephen and Max must decide whether to stick to their goals or risk everything and change their course for love.

The book was good. I liked the storyline as well as the characters, though I thought Max was immature, self-centred and impulsive towards the end of the book. I liked him up to that point. I liked Stephen more than Max because he was more mature in his behaviour. I don't think he was dull. Why would he behave like someone in his twenties when he was in his forties? I don't believe there was too much talk and jargon related to taxes since it was a tax firm and most things happend in and around the office. The small amount of work info was required to justify some scenes. Overall, I thought it was a good book. Though there was no cliffhanger, the way the book ended gave the impression that there would be another book involving a new couple, which would have been nice since I enjoyed both books in the series, the first being my favourite. I guess one isn't forthcoming.

Enjoyable book
