About this listen

The cutthroat school drama light novels that inspired an anime!

Students of the prestigious Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing High School are given remarkable freedom—if they can win, barter, or save enough points to work their way up the ranks!

Ayanokoji Kiyotaka has landed at the bottom in the scorned Class D, where he meets Horikita Suzune, who’s determined to rise up the ladder to Class A. Can they beat the system in a school where cutthroat competition is the name of the game?

Did NOT expect this

as someone who has read most of the light novels and seen the anime, I though that listening to the book, wouldn't really be interesting, but i was pleasently surprised.

The voice acting for most characters especially horikita was really good. I could mostly tell who's speaking based on the voices.

the only complaints I had was that sometimes it was hard to distinguish some key character voices like Ike or Hamagauchi. they would melt together making you guess which one is speaking.

And lastly while I enjoyed ayanokojis voice acting a lot, sometimes he would sound a bit too emotional for his character, making him sound odd.

That's all, what a great read.

A must read for light novel fans

I had previously watched the Classroom of the elite anime and really wanted a chance to read the light novel. Unfortunately with my own struggles with reading I was unable to commit.

This audiobook however easily put those struggles at ease, even if you watched the anime there is so much content in the light novel that was skipped which gives essential development for these characters.

As for the performance, it was great, the characters voices fit perfectly with their characters, this in my opinion is the best way to experience classroom of the elite.

Wooo! COTE on audible!

I'm very pleased to have my favorite light novel come to audible, I really look forward to future volumes!

The voice for Horikita Suzune is spot on hehe. Maybe just a tiny bit more of a monotone voice for Ayanokoji Kiyotaka but that's just my opinion.

Keep up the great work!
