A Really unusual story and beautifully read. Loved the basic information and style of writing

A great story interspersed with just enough technical information on rockets and the space race to understand what is going on. Set before mobile phones and WiFi its interesting historically. It makes you think about loyalties, beliefs and integrity as well as a great story that is difficult to switch off.

I’m a big fan of Ken Follett and had this been the first book of his I read I may not have read as many as I have!
His best work is “Pillars of The Earth”

Another engaging thriller from the talented Mr Follett. The historical facts are interesting and the story original and tense. I was happy to suspend disbelief and overlook small contradictions for the sake of enjoying a good story. Follett imo seldom disappoints.
