About this listen

Colin

I've devoted my life to my son, always putting his needs first, and honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way. Becoming a father was the best decision I've ever made, but hell, single parenting is difficult. I'm so tired of holding everything together.

I need a partner, someone to share my life with. I miss intimacy and passion. I want someone who will take charge and help me let go of all this control I cling to. But an endless string of bad dates and rejection has me feeling like maybe love will never come for me. Maybe a father is all I'm meant to be in this life.

Ethan

My next-door neighbor is infuriating. He's intelligent and flirty and just so bloody gorgeous. Why are Americans so cheerful and loud? I hate him. I could not hate him more.

What began as a reckless feud between competitive neighbors has somehow morphed into an attraction I can't ignore. I feel unhinged around him. I want Colin. I want him so badly it hurts.

But he has a kid—an inquisitive, bright little boy who is just as charming as his dad. And the hard truth is Colin can't afford to take a chance on me. I don't do commitment. Not anymore. Not since my ex. A stubborn, set-in-his-ways prat like me isn't cut out to be a father, right?

Colin is a funny and steamy MM romance that features a single father, enemies-to-lovers, and a HEA. It is the sixth standalone in the Unexpected series.

Colin

Colin has been on many dates but none have worked out in fact the last guy fell asleep on him . His neighbour Ethan is hot but it’s a pity he’s such an ass with his holier than thou attitude so it’s better If he stays away , famous last words. Another giggle worthy listen I just need Diablo now I’m hoping it won’t be too long.

Another cute spicy story

As I hear more from this author I love how the character development happens and how easy some things should be. Narrators were amazing as always, as a Brit the way “arse” was pronounced did irk me a little other than that great narration.

My favorite of the series!

Though I love this whole series, Colin is absolutely my favorite of the bunch. Though my opinion might be influenced by the fact that I’m an American married to a Brit. I was nervous about the narration for Ethan’s character, and though a bit rocky at the start, after a few minutes I eventually got used to the accent and just told myself it’s been influenced by his character having a mom from NYC and living in SoCal for so many years. I love how much Ethan goes from 0 to 100 in his protectiveness of both Colin & his son. It’s exactly the supportive partner Colin has been yearning for and it’s so cute (and spicy)!

Excellent story

Yet another fabulous story in this series which I’ve thoroughly loved. These characters are adorable and the story was very funny with a beautiful HEA.

If you’re from the UK, don’t let the laughable attempts at English accents put you off.

I wish the next book in this series was longer because I promised myself never to spend £7.99 on a book less than 6h long.
