I went into this book completely blind and I wish I had read the blurb first , I loved the story but it was a little confusing until I read the blurb , then It made a lot more sense , it was a great story , it was heartbreaking and I felt so bad for Adriana but she was a strong woman who overcame such heartbreak , and the love story that followed was beautiful .
the narrators were brilliant and made you really feel the emotions and like you knew the characters .

I love Kathy Coopmans writing! She write such wonderfully beautiful stories with complex storyline and characters!

This one, deals with second chance love. Adriana has lost everything. Her parents died when she was 18, her sister couldn’t deal with their deaths and turned to drugs and alcohol, her husband dies in a car accident, her sister commits suicide in her home and then her grandmother, the only person she has left, dies as well. She is going through the motions of life, but not really living.

She moves to Michigan, where her grandmother, unbeknownst to her had a house built and left it to Adriana.

Also unbeknownst to her, her husband Blake, is still alive and living in the city she’s moving to. She is furious when she finds out he’s alive.

What happened that made Blake leave her? Why did he never let her know?

There are many secrets that have kept them apart. Can they overcome them? Will they find their way through them and make their way back together?

This book is a wonderful listen and worth every minute of listening time! I give it 5 stars (Jewels). I recommend it highly!!!

Logan McAllister and Lacy Laurel do excellent work with the characters in this! They are wonderful together!

I thought this was a great story. It had some errors I picked up on it. Overall, loved the plot. Wish it elaborated more.about the bad guys at the end. if Adrianna and Blake were truly free.

Logan and Lacey were amazing at narration. both are fans of mine.

This is a very good story, I like this author and intend to read and listen to more of her work. The presenters are excellent, I always prefer a male and female presenter reading but I know that is not always possible due to cost. In this case having both works really well and makes all the difference.

Oh this book

I have to start out this was a trigger for me, that I never knew would be. My husband passed away from something similar to what happened in the book. With that being said Adriana and Blake’s story was amazing. Even though Blake had to leave to protect his wife he never stopped loving her. When fate had it, they met again and were able to show their souls. I am so thankful that my two favorite narrators preform this amazing story.

What a tragically sad love story. Adriana had lost so much in her short life. When she finds out that one life changing moment wasn't real, and family members was not being truthful, her entire world changes. Adriana has to make a choice to putting the past behind her and move on. I loved this book and recommend it for a great listen.

This was a really good second chance romance which is told in dual POVs.

This is a story about loss and finding the strength to deal with what life throws at you. This is also a story is about hope, forgiveness and betrayal.

I really liked the chemistry between Adriana and Blake and Logan McAllister & Lacy Laurel did a great job narrating and conveying this.

I have had such a hard time reviewing this book. I really enjoyed the story, and it held my attention from the beginning to the end. It had twists and turns that I didn't expect. I didn't really love Adriana or Blake, though, and actually found myself annoyed with both of them at times. Both characters were flawed and had lost so much in the last few years. I understand why Blake did what he did but he probably could have done things a little different. Logan and Lacy did a great job bringing these characters to life.
