Holy hotness, this book is hotter than hell itself!
This book is named perfectly, if you love your dark books darker than dark this will consume you! It’s raw and gritty with so much going on. There are triggers so if you have any don’t read it, but otherwise enjoy! Meghan is brilliant as usual.

Dark and twisted
Excellently narrated by Meghan Kelly, her characterisation is faultless.
The story is certainly different, not what I expected with the twisting plot which was not easily guessed and intense graphic sexual scenes.

Not My Thing
I can honestly say that this book had a very unique story. It was intense. It was also very short and sweet. I honestly wish I could say that this is the type of book that I could have gotten invested in fully. However, to say so would be a lie. I wasn't really into this book at all. It was a nice book. It just wasn't the book for me.
There are some critiques I have about this book. I won't get into it too much because I don't want to ruin the book for other potential readers. For one, there's just a part that makes no sense to me. The main character is CIA if I'm not mistaken but the way she acts just screams contradiction. The rest is that there are a lot of places where it jumps and it gets confusing.
The narrator did a great job though. This has great potential. It's just not something I would pick up and read again.

Completely different from what I expected!
This book is a quick listen (compared to many other audiobooks), but it definitely packs a punch. This book was way more than I expected, but in a good way. The synopsis definitely leaves a lot out regarding the storyline, but I think that is necessary; to have revealed more may have ruined the book. The author kept me guessing the whole time and I wasn't completely sure what was really going on which helped me experience the same thing as the female MC (in a way). This isn't a full length book, so I understand why the author didn't go into a ton of detail in Markos backstory, but I would have liked more information because he is a very unique vampire. The narrator did a great job performing this book. There was only one chapter written in Markos's POV, but she did a great job changing her voice to reflect his character. Overall. this was a unique and mildly disturbing read (which isn't a bad thing!) and I would recommend this to anyone that is looking for a different paranormal, dark romance (but heed the author's warning!).

dark and disturbed!
This isnt your average Dark Paranormal Romance this one starts out as you expect but rapidly spirals into the depths of nightmares!!!
Brilliantly written but deeply deranged!!
If you dont like non-con or brutal erotic scenes this book may not be for you!!

Dark
Very dark, very twisted. This won't be to everyone's tastes but I did enjoy it. It was something a little bit different but enjoyable.

Intriguing story
It took me a little time to settle into this audiobook. I'm not sure if the story is written slow or whether it's just the pace that Meghan Kelly was narrating at. I did know who was who just through listening rather than being told which is a great advantage.
The story itself intrigued me. I wasn't quite sure where it was going or where it was going to end up. I had a few theories that I carried till they got shot down, lol. To be honest I would have liked it to continue on just a smidge as it felt unfinished where it ended up. I wanted to know more how they would carry on.

Imaginative
An imaginative story that will take you place where evil and lust reigns. it is not my kind of story but if you like this kind book you should give it try.

A bit difficult to follow at times.
I received this book for free for review.
I really like the idea of the story and feel that the author could have got a lot more out of the idea.
It's a good short story, but it does have a lot of sex scenes so if you don't like that sort of thing then this isn't the book for you.
Other than that, it's a fairly good vampire story, but be warned it can be a bit trippy at times due to what the main character is experiencing and you don't really know what is happening till the end.

It was OK
Consumed by Sara Fields was an erotic and highly unusual paranormal romance. The story will hold your attention as you try to figure out whats what in this tale however there were some parts that just became repetitive and sort of made the story drag at times. This novel was mostly focused on the steamy scenes with the BDMS elements included and as a result there wasn't any character development. When we reached the epilogue as I felt as though it was a bit rushed, however the story did have some mind bending moments which was what kept you hooked.
The audible version of this story was narrated by Meghan Kelly. She did an incredible job with the characters. Her male voice was awesome and she really portrayed the emotion coming from Kassandra. I enjoyed listening to her.
I would recommend this paranormal romance to those looking for a quick yet highly erotic read.
