About this listen
Critic reviews
"To the usual delightfully quirky characters, lovingly detailed descriptions of food and surprising mystery, Greenwood adds several appended medieval recipes." (Kirkus Reviews)
"As with all of Greenwood’s work, there is a very satisfactory final answer to the problem and it’s not the obvious one. This is well structured crime fiction with an idiosyncratic bent. While the bad guys never win, and justice is definitely served, it happens in such a fundamentally fitting manner that the reader is always left wanting more." (The Australian Women's Weekly)
What made the experience of listening to Cooking the Books the most enjoyable?
Everything but especially the food. You can put on kilo's just by listening! What was one of the most memorable moments of Cooking the Books?
All moments can be memorable in the way the plots are intertwinedWhich character – as performed by Louise Siversen – was your favourite?
All good, in their own way but I do like CorinnaWas there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
SPOILER!!The revelation that Goss & Kylie had informed Jason of some information - knowing what was ultimately to come next!
Any additional comments?
I reviewed Earthly Delights, the first Corinna Book and finished by saying that the male voice characterisation was weak. Well, 5 books down the line I would not change a thing. Keep up the good work Louise. It just gets better
