The mysteries are short but entertaining and just long enough to enjoy listening to one whole story each day.
The narrator did a good job and I found her voice and expressions made very easy listening.
I would recommend reading the series in order to fully appreciate the lovable Daisy McDare. However, they work excellently as standalone stories. The box set is a fantastic way to collect this series. I loved it.

Bk 1: The deadly rockstar affair.
Same/similar plot as another cosy mystery but an enjoyable enough listen.
In ch 10 The line “If it weren’t for me no one would have heard it” stutters like the recording got stuck.
Bk 2: The deadly restaurant affair.
Not the best cosy mystery I’ve read/listened to, Daisy’s manner is more rude and bullying than investigative.
The narrator is ok but some of her voices in this seemed the same and for one male character she used a high voice more suited to a female character.
Bk 3: The deadly secret affair
Even when Daisy goes away murder seems to follow her.
Once again Daisy has to clear a friend from the murder suspect list. These audiobooks pass the time whilst doing chores.
Bk 4: The deadly rival affair
In this one Daisy Mcdare is investigating the death of her neighbour.
It’s the same basic, repetitive plot as the others but if you’re a cosy mystery fan then you may enjoy them.
Bk 5: The deadly radio affair
When a radio stations owner is killed after firing all of the DJ’s there’s no shortage of suspects. Once again Daisy Mcdare out investigates the bumbling detective.
Nothing taxing in these cozy mysteries.
Bk: 6 The deadly political affair
Same plot as all the others, just the names that change.
