Marooned in a sprawling farmhouse in Norfolk, teenage Linda Radlett feels herself destined for greater things. She longs for love, but how will she ever find it? Superb homage to Love in a Cold Climate
This was like the perfect gin & tonic; refreshing, zingy and fun. And Sophie Winkelman’s performance was just right for the novel.

Literally the best of the best.
This is like a modern day Cazalets - totally gripping family saga - I was hooked to this all day every day.

Lovely narrator

An unexpected delight
Took a couple of chapters to get into this but then was swept up in the fabulous writing. It was subtly funny and the characters were drawn beautifully. I loved it! The narrator is incredible and brings the story and the comedy to life. Brilliant!

Enjoyed but a little disappointed
Really enjoyed this until the last 2 minutes. Felt it ended ridiculously quickly, like the author had been told to wrap it up! After listening for so long, it left me very disappointed. Sorry
