What made the experience of listening to Das Geheimnis der Statue (Deutsch als Fremdsprache) the most enjoyable?

It improved my German listening skills. I recommend reading the pdf of the book first. I read it as an iBook on my ipad. The narration speed would have been too fast for me otherwise.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Both of the boys. I learnt some useful vocabulary on how to argue auf Deutsch from them. Some swear words too:)

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No my German is not that good:(

I would also recommend the Andre Klein books to anyone learning German. Their narration speed is slower.
