Rose McQuinn has agreed to help her neighbour, Mrs. Lawer, by delivering what she claims to be a family legacy to her only living relative. It was too slow and too frustrating for me. There was an interesting story there but it was almost lost in a jumble of words and pointless nonsense. It would have been much improved by a different narrator, this one had an unfortunate voice and was very hard to listen to despite reading competently.
